Red Pencil Edits’ Website is Live!

We’re delighted to announce that our new website is now live!

As well as letting you know more about us, we’ll be using our site as a blog and project repository so you can see what projects we’ve been working on, get some writing or grammar hints and tips, as well as asking for our services; so do check back with us regularly. With a Facebook feed (and Instagram coming soon), we want to ensure we’re easy to find and that you get an instant feel of who and what we’re about.

All our articles are categorised and tagged to make it easy for you to find relevant information, but if you can’t find what you’re looking for, please ask!

Is it Easy Writing Web Content?

Let’s be honest here, for most of us, it’s a struggle. If you’re a natural writer, then of course this part of a website build is going to be easier. But it’s probably more a case of finding the time to sit down and pull your content together. Getting over this first hurdle is often the biggest challenge.

Even when you think you’ve got all your web content sorted, once you get into the nitty-gritty, you soon realise that you’ve got to make significantly more changes to it than you would have thought. As your site comes together and your words come to life within it, the look and feel of your site may end up morphing into something else and therefore your content will need change to reflect this.

Is my Web Content Well Written?

When you’ve poured your heart and soul into your website, it can be difficult to hear that you’ve written too much, your content isn’t quite on point, or that your carefully written words aren’t doing you justice.

The most important thing we’ve learnt through building our website is how involved you become. Having worked with several clients on writing, editing and proofreading web content, and having now completed our own web content, we get how personal it is, especially, if like us, you’ve a small company or a one-man-band.

At Red Pencil Edits, we’re used to working with individuals and small companies who have a heart. We’ll tactfully point you in the right direction, listen to your feelings and ensure your individuality shines through your web content. If this sounds like the way you want to work, get in contact to discover what Red Pencil Edits can do for you.
